Jeremy Bronson is a New York-based artist & director who creates animation, short films, TV commercials, music videos, illustrated books and YouTube videos in his recognizable handmade stop-motion style.  

His work has been featured in everything from film festivals, museum & gallery shows and private screenings, to short films and ad campaigns for clients like Sesame Workshop, Nickelodeon, Google, MTV and Nintendo. He’s been featured on PBS, written about in The New York Times and his short film The Circuit, co-directed & written with his twin brother David, won Best Animation at the Magnolia Independent Film Festival. He is also a New York Foundation for the Arts (NYFA) Video Fellow.

Jeremy uses a wide variety of mediums in his film-making: drawing, painting, sculpture, puppet-making and set-design. He’s currently throwing it all into the blender with AI video tools to explore the emerging medium of AI Stop-Motion.

He is fascinated by the themes of Time (its passage and effects), History, Connection, Joy, Nostalgia and Silliness.

*Fun fact - the BRONSON’S sign at top is a miniature replica of the sign that hung above Bronson’s newspaper store in Orange NJ in the 1950’s & 60’s, owned & run by Jeremy’s grandparents.
